Botanist is committed to environmental sustainability & social awareness and we continually strives to design, engineer and manufacture products that are guided by these principals:
Botanist products -
1) Are made in America
2) Weigh less than other product in the same category
3) Requiring less raw material than other product in the same category
4) Use fewer parts and manufacturing processes than other product in the same category
5) Contain as high a percentage of recycled content as possible
6) Contain as high a percentage of recyclable content as possible
7) Donate at least 2% of all product sales to socially responsible charities and foundations

Our Powder Coats (Flow, Flora, & Designer Series)
All Botanist products use a powder coated paint process vs. liquid paint and it contains no VOC’s. Powder coating is considered a non-toxic material and more environmentally friendly for AQMD in manufacturing applications.
Our Aluminum
Aluminum is everywhere. We see it in soft drink cans, beer cans, pie plates, foil, packaging, siding and Botanist. What most people don’t realize is that aluminum is practically the perfect recyclable material. Out of the most common recyclable materials that clutter up our landfills—glass, paper, metals, cardboard, plastics—aluminum is the only material that’s endlessly recyclable, 100% recyclable, and that pays for itself.
Aluminum can be recycled over and over without breaking down. In theory, we have an inexhaustible supply of it in circulation right now. If we recycled all our aluminum, we’d never have to make more.
Botanist takes advantage of this green material using up to 50% recycled aluminum for production of benches and tables which are 100% recyclable.
Our Shipping Materials
Currently all corrugated/cardboard materials are made using 100% recycled materials and are 100% recyclable. Foam materials; We incorporate within our packaging design limitations of the amount of petroleum based products due to the cost increases and using card board instead within container packaging where possible.
Additionally, we redesigned our boxes to ensure damage-free delivery and included cutout handholds making delivery a snap.
